Have road bikes, tour and tandem (and kayaks). Love to just cruise around San Diego (century around the bay, etc.) and have completed week touring rides (self-contained). Live less than blocks from the South Bay Bicycle Trail so do (as often as possible) mile morning loop to the ferry landing and back. Also enjoy hiking and dwelling on starting backpacking. Scored the last year VW camper so do some weekend "disappearing" trips also, just to get away from the city for a few days (lots of campsites within just a to hour drive). Like to stay active. Zoology club member, Science Center member, Balboa Park member (all save $$$ since I visit often enough). Retired military, just enjoying life and living in Southern California.
