I'm a complete wanderer and nomad at heart looking for the next big thing...pushing myself where I thought I couldn't. Doing things I thought I wasnt capable of. I've cycled thousands of miles but I spend my life doing this alone.
I love meeting people and saying hi. I make friends on the road. Could make those grueling lonely days more memorable with company. I can push 50-150 miles a day for a month and I love it. But it's not all about the bike I ride or where I go. Every day is a new day and everything learned is an experience.
I love nature, walks, camping, cooking, eating out, hotel and b&b and hostel stays, jumping into the next loch or reservoir, laughs and share great humor. I'm a bit for friendly banter.
I dont mind smokers or drinkers. I am happy to meet family. I am only a social smoker but rarely have one. Its never really on my mind.
I love cinema and film. I'm quite peculiar that I don't have a TV. I sold mine twice because I love an outdoor lifestyle and the world is your television..I can change and go back to that style of life but sometimes it's nice not to have one because theres so much more to do and see that's not on repeat.. every day is a different experience and what you saw you wont see again the same way hence nostalgia can be rather precious but its important not to hold onto it too much to the point it traps you wishing for what you used to see. Theres so much to do and one life and theres a big open road.
Every country I visit is a new experience fun sometimes daunting but it never fails to amaze me. I'd like to share that with someone
I don't mind vegans or vegetarians. I dont think I could make that lifestyle choice being a lover of food but I admire it. I am very solid on my beliefs and only buy cruelty free foods especially free range eggs..I love animals and did animal care. I love food. I did a catering course and have experience in fine dining.
Theres not alot I dont enjoy tbh. I'm always out to try something. Step out of my comfort zone. I overcame a slight fear of flying last year.
I want to visit Australia alaska and norway. Egypt maybe Madagascar. Salt lakes and ice roads. I want to see it all. Maybe a tornado in my lifetime. It's all in my wish list. I love country parks. I love forests and survival skills.
I spent 3 years in the cotswolds and near Oxfordshire I got to try street foods from around the world where you can try almost anything once. If I'm not dreaming about going abroad I'm dreaming of a weekend in the cotswolds. Quite a charming quaint peaceful part of the world.
